Dayron is our "Main Man in Havana".  

In his words......

In 2013, I earned a degree in Advertising, Public Relations, and Marketing from the University of Havana. After graduating, I began working as an Account Executive at the Advertising Agency of the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba and also as a guide.

These roles allowed me to develop skills in organizing and conducting tours—whether historical, cultural, architectural, or otherwise—for individuals, couples, and groups throughout Cuba. I provided information about heritage sites, museums, art galleries, and other attractions. Additionally, I enhanced my interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in English as a second language.

During my time as a guide, I had the opportunity to work with people from around the world, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia, and predominantly North America (the United States and Canada). I also worked with companies that bring groups of Americans to Cuba.

Currently, I am partnering with Charles Kimball in the USA through "Out in Cuba," where I serve as their lead travel adviser in Cuba. As a private guide, I have explored many of Cuba's fascinating locations—Havana, Viñales, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Holguín, Santiago de Cuba, Baracoa, and more. This experience enables me to offer exceptional guiding services anywhere on the island.

Having met many people from Canada and the United States, some of whom have become close friends, I’ve experienced firsthand the value of cultural exchange. I believe that increasing political, economic, and cultural connections between Cubans and Americans is incredibly positive. I am proud to contribute to this with my work and am eager to share my knowledge and passion for Cuba with American visitors, ensuring they experience the best of what my country has to offer in safety and comfort.

Andrés

Andrés is our Art Advisor, deeply immersed in the art scene of Havana. He’s well-versed in the latest happenings and knows exactly where to find the city’s vibrant art scene. As an artist himself, he also offers his own works for sale.

A true social butterfly, Andrés is a voracious reader, a jazz enthusiast, an occasional singer, and a passionate history lover. He has a knack for uncovering the stories behind everything, embodying a unique blend of traditional Cuban spirit with a modern twist.

Charles is that friendly American voice on the other end of your phone call. I consider myself “Cuban by marriage”, and now am in love with my Cuban family and all things CUBAN!
